Science, Technology, Reading, Engineering, Arts and Math—STREAM!
Ortega Elementary aims to provide students with a program that designed to integrate science, technology, reading, engineering, arts, and mathematics in the classroom.
STREAM offers students the opportunity to engage in interdisciplinary, problem-based learning that cultivates innovative thinking and empowers leaders.
STREAM education makes learning meaningful to the student; emphasizing collaboration, communication, research, problem solving, critical thinking and creativity at each grade level. Ortega provides students with a learning environment that supports them as they make the connection between the concepts learned in class and how those concepts apply to the world they live in.
